Heather Stephens

Heather (Spaude) Stephens was born on June 18, 1971 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She lived in St. Cloud her entire life until marrying Jack Stephens in April of 2003 then moved 50 miles east to Brunswick Township.

  • She is a graduate of Tech High School and earned her Associate of Arts Degree at St. Cloud State University.

  • She joined a major county Sheriff’s Office nearly twenty years ago and works as a supervisor. Heather is a certified Crisis Intervention Instructor and a Crisis Intervention for Veterans Instructor. She teaches theses classes to many police and Sheriff’s Office employees throughout the State of Minnesota.

  • Heather is an accomplished Trap Shooter, participating in the sport since she was thirteen. Over the years, she has won many state titles and numerous trophies and awards. Her team members and opponents have great respect for her and her shooting abilities.

  • Heather is a certified Youth Minister and an active participant at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brunswick where she is a confirmation teacher.

  • She and her husband Jack discovered the Eagle’s Healing Nest in the summer of 2013 while on a motorcycle ride. They have been volunteering at the Eagle’s Nest in many ways including organizing and working the annual “Nest Fest” fundraiser and of course Heather continues to raise funds for the “Nest.”
